Daucus - Dara

Daucus is a very beautiful umbellifer, the colouring ranges from whites to reds to deep purple fireworks.  The flowers can be used fresh or in their most unique seed pod form,  the seed pods are also stunning dried.  A real workhorse in the garden and super productive too, wonderful on their own in a vase or for adding movement to arrangements.

I do prefer to grow them undercover over winter but have grown them outside, throwing frost cloth over for the worst of the weather.
